Air India plane crash: DVR recovery crucial to uncover cause; here’s what the device records

The digital video recorder (DVR) has been recovered from the wreckage of the Air India plane that experienced an accident. This recovery is expected to assist investigating agencies in determining the cause of the crash. The wreckage of Air India’s Boeing Dreamliner, which was en route to London after departing from Ahmedabad airport, has been located near the district hospital. An officer from the ATS team involved in the investigation discovered the DVR onboard the aircraft, which may expedite the inquiry into the incident. Reports indicate that a total of 297 individuals have lost their lives as a result of the Ahmedabad plane crash. Out of the 242 people aboard the flight, 241 have been confirmed deceased, along with 56 additional fatalities linked to the crash in a residential area.
