The head of the UN-backed International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has raised serious concerns over radioactive and chemical contamination at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility following Israeli military strikes. Addressing the UN Security Council, Grossi stated that while the underground centrifuge halls at Natanz remain intact, the above-ground infrastructure was destroyed, resulting in contamination at the site.
